Part of the reason I think I enjoyed the trail so much is I am willing to sacrifice a little weight to make the whole journey more comfortable and enjoyable. I am willing to spend money to get the lightest thing I can in a category but I will bring extra things if I think the journey as a whole will be made more enjoyable for it.
